Author Joanna Glass

Joanna Glass is a Graduate of Southern Methodist University. Mother of two, grandmother to eight, and a widow, she pursued an education in math and engineering, so one might ask how on earth she became a writer. As a young child, she struggled with reading and writing in school due to dyslexia. She avoided words and God gave her a talent with numbers and equations, so she became an engineer, math programmer, and math teacher.

Joanna has had an unusual life, that was extremely difficult in her teens and twenties and then again later in life. Thankfully, as she states, her life was full of love and adventure later.  She saw miracles and blessings. Joanna has known fear, abuse, and sorrow, but God was with her through it all. He rescued Joanna the night she nearly lost her life. His guidance, His love, and His compassion, have guided Joanna throughout her life.

When her husband was diagnosed with cancer seven years ago, God told Joanna to start writing. She

told Him, I do numbers, not words. He then gave her a couple of new talents - writing and drawing, to her utter amazement. Both talents are displayed in her new book, Jesus Steps In. He continues to transform Joanna in ways she never thought possible. He is making her new.

Joanna has pursued God relentlessly and spent devoted time in prayer. She wanted to know God more. She wanted to understand life. She has seen His power and felt His love. Although, His devotion is beyond words, she wrote a book of her pursuit of God. Joanna notes that she wants God to receive all the glory from her story because it is part of His story. Put your seat belt on and join Joanna Glass for the most incredible journey of learning, loving, and understanding God.

Watch Him teach and mold, for a purpose beyond her vision.
